After completing the projects created with online tools, based on your experiences of creating and using online tools and your understanding on Chapter 10, you will choose one of the following questions to discuss and make your projects linked to the end of your reflection:
I had the same thoughts when I started my Master’s program. Would distance education provide me with an equal amount of learning opportunity as my previous traditional learning experiences? I was weary to say the least. Who was going to push me? Who was going to help me when I didn’t understand? Who was going to teach me? Would I have to teach myself? I think that all of my questions were answered my first semester. I was the one who had to push me. I never had a professor telling me that something was due three times a week. It was my responsibility to get my assignments in on time. My professors have been great! One quick email and I get a quick response that helps me understand even the hardest of situations. I teach myself and the professors teach me. The material is so well put together that I can follow along pretty easily. If I have a program I need to use, there is always a step-by-step tutorial. I think that people are apprehensive when it comes to online education. Some may not even consider it to be a real education. However, I will tell you that I have learned just as much in my online degree program as I did in my traditional learning program. I really think that learning can be accomplished either way as long as the learner has the drive and the motivation to actually learn and submit their graded assignments or projects on time.

- There has been much discussion about whether distance education can provide students instruction that is equal in quality to traditional education. Do you think an equivalent experience is possible via distance delivery? Why or why not?
